HONORING THE FIRST MENSTRUAL CYCLE
In other cultures and times, girls who were entering womanhood would be welcomed by their tribe. They would be told the secrets of womanhood and they would be blessed and celebrated. We can do that in our modern world today. Krista will work with you to plan a memorable celebration that commemorates the first menstrual cycle of your daughter, niece, special friend or any young woman in your life. Maybe you include a whole group of friends/special women or maybe it’s just for her and one special friend. The celebration can include anything from writing a poem to having a special dinner to creating a new piece of jewelry. It doesn’t have to be immediately following her first cycle either; when you do it or how you do it is not important. Just doing it and celebrating is enough!
